Solution
How we approached it
We built an AI-powered contract review workflow that ingests incoming documents, identifies key clauses against the firm's own playbook, flags deviations with a risk rating, and produces a structured review summary ready for a fee earner to act on. A human sign-off step was retained before any output is sent to clients.
First-pass review time dropped from an average of 72 minutes to 11 minutes per document. The team processed 340 contracts in the three months following launch with no headcount increase, and associates reported a 35% increase in time available for higher-value advisory work.
